Dogs at Presidio Park

Presidio Park is near Old Town in San Diego. It is a rather amazing spot, as it is near the crossing of arguably the two busiest freeways in San Diego--Interstate 5, which rus North-South, and Interstate 8, which runs East-West. And Old Town is not only a busy tourist location, but the spot in San Diego where all trains, trolleys, and buses meet. Yet, only a stone's throw away is Presido Park, an oasis of green among this confluence of urban life. And it is completely underutilized, and it also allows dogs at any time of day.

Another quite rare thing among the relatively dry climate of San Diego is the greenness of Presido Park despite the lack of any natural water. This greenness can be ascribed (explained by) to the way the park face. Of course, houses that use solar energy need to be on a south-facing slope--this park perhaps mostly faces exactly the opposite--to the north. Once a hangout of nefarious types, one does see a homeless person enjoying one of the two free barbeques now and then. The park extends of course way farther than this vantage point--and some of it is a little busier and home to some olive trees (don't try eating them--olives are poisonous unless they are treated). Maybe not a good idea to be at this park at night--the isolation is just too severe and could cause you some problems.

  2. Good day! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog.
Is it difficult to set up your own blog? I'm not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty
fast. I'm thinking about creating my own but I'm not sure where to start.
Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Thank you
